The meeting will be an opportunity to hear how Make Music Day 2018 went, case studies from various organisations who took part, and future plans for 2019 and beyond. Please bring your ideas, small or large, realistic or crazy to the meeting, as there will be an opportunity for us all to brainstorm the future of Make Music Day together.

Make Music Day 2018 - evaluation

I'm delighted to report on this year's Make Music Day which saw over 500 free performances to audiences of almost 50,000 people. Events took place up and down the country, from the Isle of Lewis to the Isle of Wight in all kinds of locations including train stations, shopping centres, pubs, libraries, music shops, hospitals, schools, parks and hilltops.

This year's event marks a significant development from last year, trebling in size and reach. We have gathered feedback and data from audiences, event organisers, volunteers, and all of you. Thank you for your input. To view the summary evaluation report, click here. To view the full evaluation report, click here.

We look forward to seeing many of you on Friday. If you're not able to join us, we'll be in touch separately following the meeting.

Best wishes,
Alison Porter
